“Fireball” Coyote (Canis latrans) or possibly (Canis latrans x Canis lupus familiaris)

Assuming this isn’t a coydog, I honestly have no words to describe how VIVID that coat is. The dark guard hairs over the shoulders mixed in with the orange makes it very hard for me to place, and really makes me think coydog. Any people more savvy then I care to take a stab?

Edit: Here is another shot of the same individual, with a pretty dark friend. The fact that two oddly colored ‘yotes are mingling together makes me think that there is a bit more dog blood in this Canadian coyote population

Pretty cool really. I want to try these colors as a palette on a digital painting sometime.

This photo was taken back in autumn of 2009. Yes, the saturation is boosted. But only slightly. My camera doesn’t capture colors very well at all, and they’re still not quite accurate after editing. These sumacs were insanely bright and colorful.

Soo.. Grief Syndrome

It’s pretty great in all honesty. I can’t say I’d recommend it to everyone though. The game is pretty big on the “permanent death” thing, with no option to save during plays/runs. It fits in with the source material though so I can’t judge it too harshly.
